Kingston University Students Union & Faith Centre

Lavingtons were appointed Project Managers of the refurbishment of part of the ground floor of the Main Building of the Penrhyn Road Campus to house both the Student Union (KUSU) and the Faith Centre which were previously located within within Town House. The space available is the area currently occupied by Planning & Surveying.

The Scope of the Works included the following:

• Complete stripping out of existing offices and C-Scaipe area.
• New Faith Centre, comprising a Quiet Space, Prayer room, Washing Facilities and office support
• Student Social space
• KUSU offices for 24 staff, incorporating an additional support space area
• New Student Union Shop and store
• Refurbishment of existing corridors adjacent to the new KUSU and Faith Centre
